web.disableSSLVerification

Turns off SSL certificate checks for the web requests that follow, so servers with self-signed or invalid certificates can be reached. The connection is still encrypted, but the certificate isn't checked.

WARNING

This leaves requests open to man-in-the-middle attacks. Only use it for servers you trust.

js
web.disableSSLVerification()

Returns

boolean

true if verification was turned off, otherwise false.

Examples

js
const isDisabled = web.disableSSLVerification();
console.log("SSL verification disabled:", isDisabled);
