# workview.cache

Runs a workview for every combination of its title elements, so the results are cached before users open it. The number of combinations is written to the process log.

workview.cache(workview)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `workview` | `string` | The workview's name or id. |

## Returns

`""` when done, or a string starting with `"Error:"` when the workview can't be found.

## Examples

```js
workview.cache("Monthly P&L");
```
