# web.setTransferTimeout

Sets how long a web request can take to transfer its data, once connected, before timing out. Defaults to 600 seconds (10 minutes).

If the response takes longer than this, the request is stopped and an error is returned.

web.setTransferTimeout(seconds)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `seconds` | `number` | The seconds to allow. |

## Examples

```js
web.setTransferTimeout(60); // Set transfer timeout to 60 seconds
```
