# security.applicationRemoveTag 

Removes a single tag from an application.

security.applicationRemoveTag(applicationId, tag)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `applicationId` | `string` | The application id. |
| `tag` | `string` | The tag name or id. |

## Returns

`true` if the tag was removed; `false` if the application was not found or the tag did not exist.

## Examples

```js
const removed = security.applicationRemoveTag("MyActivityId", "Admin");
```
