# script.variableSet

Sets a model variable, creating it if it doesn't exist.

```js
script.variableSet(key, value, runFeeders)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `key` | `string` | The variable's name. |
| `value` | `string` | The value to set. |
| `runFeeders` | `boolean` | Optional. `false` to skip running feeders after the change, such as when setting several variables. Defaults to `true`. |

## Examples

```js
script.variableSet("Current Month", "2014 - Jan");
```
