# script.getUserEmail

Returns the email address of the user running the process, or of another user.

```js
script.getUserEmail(userId)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `userId` | `number` | Optional. A user's id, to get that user's email address instead. |

## Returns

The email address.

## Examples

```js
const userEmail = script.getUserEmail();
```
