# mapping.rowDelete

Deletes a row from a mapping. Get a row's id from [mapping.findUsingLeft](/process-functions/mapping-findusingleft) or [mapping.findUsingRight](/process-functions/mapping-findusingright).

```js
mapping.rowDelete(mappingName, rowId)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `mappingName` | `string` | The mapping's name or id. |
| `rowId` | `number` | The row's id. |

## Returns

`true` if the row was deleted, otherwise `false`.

## Examples

```js
mapping.rowDelete("Time to Year and Month", 1);
```
