# datasource.ungzip

Decompresses a gzip file.

```js
datasource.ungzip(fileName, destinationPath)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `fileName` | `string` | The path of the `.gz` file. |
| `destinationPath` | `string` | Optional. The directory to decompress into. Defaults to the `.gz` file's own directory. |

## Returns

`true` when the file was decompressed, otherwise `false`.

## Examples

```js
datasource.ungzip("uploads/data.csv.gz");
datasource.ungzip("uploads/data.csv.gz", "extracted/");
```
