# cube.getId

Returns the id of a cube.

```js
cube.getId(cubeName)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `cubeName` | `string` | The cube's name. |

## Returns

The cube's id, or `"ERROR: Cube not found."` when the cube can't be found.

## Examples

```js
const cubeId = cube.getId("General Ledger");
```
