# blueprint.addChild 

Adds an element to a blueprint as the child of another element.

```js
blueprint.addChild(name, parentName, childName, weight)
```

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `name` | `string` | The blueprint's name. |
| `parentName` | `string` | The parent element's name. |
| `childName` | `string` | The child element's name. |
| `weight` | `number` | Optional. `1` to add the child into the parent, or `-1` to subtract it. Defaults to `1`. |

## Examples

blueprint.addChild("Default", "All Accounts", "Revenue");
```
